Who we are
Burlington Community Church is a welcoming Salvation Army church made up of dedicated members, staff, and volunteers who are passionate about serving others. Rooted in faith and compassion, we are committed to sharing the love of Jesus Christ, meeting practical needs, and offering hope, support, and connection to our community.
Through worship, outreach, and community programs, we create a space where people of all ages and backgrounds can belong, grow in faith, and find encouragement for everyday life. Whether it’s through a conversation, a meal, or a time of worship, we are here to walk alongside individuals and families in every season.
Meet our majors
Majors David and April McNeilly serve as the spiritual leaders and administrative heads of Burlington Community Church. They provide pastoral care, leadership, and direction for both our congregation and community programs, helping ensure that our mission is lived out in meaningful and practical ways.
Together with their family - four daughters, Rebekah, Rachel, Miriam, and Hannah, two granddaughters, Martha and Joanna, and their giant poodle Willow - they bring a heart for people, a love for community, and a deep commitment to faith-filled service.
