Food Assistance
Our Food Bank supports individuals and families in Burlington with dignity, kindness and hope.
Through our appointment-based shopping program, you can select groceries from the items available, including fresh produce, baked goods, pantry staples and other essentials.
Our support goes beyond food. Our staff and volunteers offer a welcoming place to connect, find encouragement and learn about additional services available through The Salvation Army and the wider Burlington community.

Appointments
Our Food Bank operates by appointment on Monday afternoons and Wednesday and Thursday mornings. Text 289-230-2556 to request an appointment.
How often you can visit
Individuals and households may access the Food Bank once every 21 days.
Registering for the first time
Please bring identification for each person in your household, along with confirmation of your current Burlington address. A driver’s licence showing your current address or a recent piece of mail can be used to confirm where you live.
After registering, please bring your own current identification to each visit.
Support when life is difficult
If you are experiencing homelessness or other difficult circumstances and cannot provide identification or proof of address, please speak with our team. You are welcome here, and food assistance will be available regardless.
What to bring
Please bring reusable bags and your Identification.
Dietary needs and other essentials
Please let us know about dietary needs or requests for items such as diapers or baby formula. We will do our best to help, but available products depend on donations and cannot be guaranteed.
Changing an appointment
